I love love love this web site and use it all the time - but was wondering if there is an app for Food.com? It would be so handy to have my recipes on my iPhone when shopping or when I'm at someone house helping in the kitchen.

No app yet, but the mobile site should be out sometime in the next few weeks

Well,I only bugged them about this TWO years ago. So much for customer responsiveness. Instead, they made massive changes to the existing site and changed a LOT of thins no one waned to change. time not well spent.
give us the real date the app will be here. It is already 3 weeks since the original question here. What is THE date vs a "few weeks" promise. two years ago you were looking into it too. You are WAY BEHIND the curve on this. THE date?

Yes! Thanks for the reminder. Is it ready? A few weeks ago you said it would be a few weeks and asked us to be patient. It is a few weeks later, so surely it is ready by now. Can I get it by searching for it in my iPhone ? I tried to find it, but don't see it. What is it called?

I don't believe we have ever said it is in the works. It’s on our wish list and we know you want it too.

If there is no app in the works, then who is Veggie98 above, and he / she has no connection to the folks who do software at Food.com? See her reply that she posted in January. And another one shortly there after that says to just "be patient." I really thought that something was being done.
I am so sad that our hopes are now dashed for the foreseeable future and that there is really nothing being done. Other folks do this sort of thing: Food Network, All Recipes, Better Homes and Gardens, etc. to name a few. But, your site is the best one and the one that I need and want. I have used this site for years and all od my stuff is here. I don't understand why this isn't an active, working priority on a TO DO list with a target date, vs. just a wishlist item. My own personal "wishlist" is just that.........a list of .wishes. Sigh.........

I was basing that information off of things I had heard.

There is a mobile site and an app in the works but no, we don't have a date. So, we ask for your patience. No, VeggieCook98 is not a member of the staff. She is a member just like you and was relaying what she heard. She thought it wouldn't be too long, but a date was never released. We are waiting just like you.
I'll update you as soon as I hear something.

No general date even? Broadly, Spring, Summer Fall? Certainly there is some target. I know from doing IT that if there must at least be a deadline....otherwise, you know what happens. So, is it GENERALLY, Ist QTR, 2nd QTR, 3 QTR, 4th QTR. Yes, I understand being patient. I have been.
