    How is everyone doing? I know our Jewish friends are in the midst of Hannukah foods and fun. And many of us are getting ready for Christmas Eve and Christmas.

    I am just making an appetizer for Christmas, someone else is hosting the family Christmas get-together. For Christmas Eve I am making silke (herring), kisielius (cranberry pudding - sort of, not really a good English equivalent), kucia (wheatberries with poppy seeds, etc), some salmon entree, I think, salad.... not making a lot, cause it's just the two of us.
