I am desperately searching to find the recipe for a cookie I used to enjoy in my childhood. It was a rich shortbread cookie filled with pecan nuts, and green/red cherries. We used to purchase them decades ago at the old Dominion grocery store. Talk about a trip down memory lane!! I have tried to recreate them with various refrigerator cookie recipes and adding glaced cherries and nuts. However, they just don't have the richness or smoothness. Does anyone have a recipe? Thanks!! icon_rolleyes.gif

I remember those cookies too!!! I tried to look for them on the database, however there seems to be a problem on the site at the moment..
    Good luck in your search!
