    Pao de Lo

    For anyone who had pao de lo in your family or in Portugal can you please tell me what texture is the most common? I see several posted here on ( drier and looks like Euro style sponge cake) but the ones I had in Japan are much different. It looks more like molten flourless choco cake (without choco) and looks like this:

    There are varius types of Pao de Lo, each region has its own version.This type in the Photo is called Pao de Lo de Ovar. It looks like its uncooked in the center, its a very moist cake. This type of cake is found in the Distric of Aveiro which is localized in the center of Portugal. If you want the recipe let me know and I'll get it translatted for you.
