I have the complete set of McCall's Cooking School recipes from 1986, but some of them are damaged and unreadable. I would like to locate:

    Fish/seafood #27--Scampi
    Fish/seafood #28--Oysters Rockefeller
    Fish/seafood #29--Lobster in Sherry Sauce
    Fish/seafood #30--Aioli Summer Feast
    Fish/seafood #33--Pompano en Papillote
    Fish/seafood #34--Fillets of Sole Tampico
    Fish/seafood #35--Seafood Fondue
    Fish/seafood #36--Baked Striped Bass
Fish/seafood #37--Poached Salmon With Erin Sauce
Fish/seafood #39--Scallops in Fresh Tomato Sauce
    Holiday Delights #1--Floating Heart Ritz

Please note that I am looking for these specific recipes from McCall's Cooking School, not just similar recipes for these dishes.

    Your help is appreciated.

Nope, I've already checked those out. The first one isn't related to the recipes I'm looking for. The second one doesn't have any of the recipes I'm looking for. The third one has 1000+ recipes with "McCall's" OR "Cooking" OR "School" somewhere in the post. It has only 8 actual McCall's recipes, none of which is one of the ones I'm looking for. Thanks anyway.

Does anyone have these actual recipes?

    No, mine are from 1986.

I'm looking to replace the recipes from the 1986 version that came in three binders. The earlier and later versions won't have the same recipes. I just want the 1986 recipes.

I knew what year you were looking for ~ I'm impressed that they never have taught the exact same recipe throughout the years!

I need to re-read your first request to see if you have looked on ebay ~

No, I have the whole set, it's just these few that are damaged.
That one isn't the full set anyway. There are over 40 recipes in the fish/seafood section, and that one has only 10, so there's no way of knowing whether the ones I want are included or not. It's also a different, one-volume version; mine is the 1986 edition in three binders.

I appreciate your efforts on my behalf, though.

Sometimes they are the same, but not these babies! rotfl.gif
It WOULD be the ones they didn't repeat that got damaged in my set.

We're in pretty rough financial waters right now, and I don't know if I can afford ebay. Some sellers on Amazon are selling them page by page, but that runs into a lot of money. And with the sets you never know if it's complete or not. There are two sets on ebay that purport to be complete, but they're already out of my price range, and I don't need the whole set with the binders. (The binders alone are going for $5 each.) The problem is that these are "collectible," so people charge quite high prices for them. Like this: http://www.biblio.com/books/93004.html

Um--you guys do know that I'm looking for the recipes and not the actual cards, right?

Don't have good news for you Chocolatl, but thanks for your response and good luck in finding the right recipes.

The only complete set I have is the one from Betty Crocker's Recipe Card Library from 1971 and it is in mint condition. icon_biggrin.gif icon_wink.gif
