I have been away from this site for some time now and thought it was time to see how things are going.

I find the site still extremely slow on my dialup service. I see that some topics in the forums have just plain disappeared ( if they are in the archives there is no way to search for them ).

Some of these topics had valuable info and tips.

Sorry, but it will be a long time again before I visit.

Dialup IS slow, Shadows. Is there any way you could get high speed or DSL?

I'd be very happy to help you find whatever topic you wish. Just let me know what it is you're looking for.

    Thanks Molly!
I am on a fixed income and can not afford it!
I am using the machine at the local library ( don't get into town much since I can no longer drive ) it is cable. Still this site is so slow loading and popups are everywhere even with cable.

I found one of the main things I was looking for... the game I started in the Men of Zaar forum that I was told would never amount to any thing by the game hosts... it is 58 pages there and the 100+ that were there before they moved it are gone.
I wonder how many pages it had gotten up to before they split it off, do you know?

    Bye

    Hi Shadows,
Don't know if you meant this game: Recipe & Picture Match Game but this game had 134 pages when moved to Cooking Games with Friends.

After that a new thread was started since the old one was too long(!) and that thread had 59 pages. Now a new thread has started for the year 2012, the link is: http://www.food.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?p=5591739#5591739

This game that you invented started 1st of October 2009 and is still going strong. You were so right that it would be a fun game!

Would be great if you could visit.

If that's the thread, then here's the link to the 59-page thread: http://www.food.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=357166&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

And the link to the original thread, which ran to 134 pages:
