Well, it doesn't exactly fill me with excitement. I doubt I'd watch a show by that name.

Would more than likely watch out of curiosity and if I like what I saw would continue to do so but doubt if it will ever get to Australia on free TV.

I dunno. To me it just isn't saying anything about what the show has to offer.

I love this show. I have learned a lot from it and the recipes are great. I have made something from almost every show. You have to get passed her funny style if it's not your thing but the chick can cook. As for the name, I took my big girl pill and didn't worry about it.

A big girl would think about it. It's insulting.

At any rate, the show has great recipe's and an abundance of tips to help out with every one of them. I also enjoy the likes of Anthony Bourdain, Thomas Keller, Eric Ripert, Kevin Willman, Hubert Keller and the one and only Joel Robuchon. They are fantastic chefs with a potty mouth in the kitchen at times. I may not agree with it but I respect the mouth it's coming out of. Didn't mean to ruffle any little feathers. Just chiming in...

I'm not offended by it at all. I think it's a great name, that really describes the show. I think the show it self, is a bit cheesy, but every recipe the she makes, looks sooooo fantastic. I've been watching cooking shows ever since I can remember, and none of them have made my mouth water like this one. I never would've started watching it if it hadn't been for the name. It caught my eye.

I don't watch it because its a very stereotypical show. Its promotes the "Yo How Youse Doin?" mentality associated with the Northeastern US and in particular New York. I feel that if you want to show me or teach me something, don't go over the top and try to ram it down my throat. There is no way the she talks like that in public away from the TV lights. I suppose that people in other parts of the country might find it amusing. I don't!

You know with this kind of trash on the food channel what's next? Could it be " A Day in a Dago Kitchen with Chef Ligi" and his famous "I'ma tola you" or how about "Wetback Kitchen with Chef Speedy Gonzales"?
But they way the Food Channel is going there will be no worry because in due time every chef will be an Iron Chef. I can see "The Chairman" ( translate that to be a bad grade B movie actor ) will ask " And Which Of My 1,234 Iron Chefs will you Challenge?" ( accompanied by the fake karate wind noise.) The food channel is really going in the dumps lately.

You have the option to turn the channel. There are those of us who watch the show. you don't have to.

Thank you for pointing that out. I did not know that I was free to change the channel any time I wanted. Actually if you had read the original question, it asked for an opinion and I gave mine. Whether you like it or not, I am entitled to my opinion and I stated it. I really could care less what you watch. It is after all, at the last time I looked, a free country and you may watch what you want.

Food TV doesn't give me an option on what to watch. It's Guy & DD&D 24/7 here.
I'd watch Bitchen Kitchen just to get away from Guy
