You are so right about things being better made at home. I took Chinese cooking lessons for nine months at my community college and for a while was cooking Chinese at least three or four nights a week. When work got busier, I tried out every single Chinese restaurant between my workplace and my home, in the hopes of finding something I could rely on when tired, and it shocked me that dishes tended to taste the same - maybe the veggies were a bit different but the sauces were nearly identical. This was 20 years ago and things have improved some, but you still have to be quite selective. In any event, making it at home has great advantages from a nutrition aspect.
