I dined at an O'Charley's restaurant some years back and they had one of the best Eggplant Parmesan's I've ever tasted and I've always wanted the recipe for their Balsamic dressing too!

I found out that O'Charley's sells their own salad dressings in a jar. Take a look of this:

And about the recipe for Eggplant Parmesan that you want, is not even described in their menu. icon_sad.gif

Thanks Pinky. I have bought the dressing in the past and just 2 days ago found 4 bottles for 25 cents a piece at our local discount store! I was a happy camper. I'd love to recreate it, but haven't been able to so far.

I would also love to be able to make the Boston Market Medeterranean salad garlic dressing. It's yummy. I googled it but couldn't find, although I do have a recipe to try out. There is no Boston Market around here, so will have to go on memory. icon_biggrin.gif

U R welcome, Sharon. Thanks for your response and glad to know that you found those 4 jars of the balsamic dressing you like and are enjoying it.

About their Mediterranean salad, maybe you have already seen the description of the ingredients:

Rotisserie chicken with mixed greens, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and sweet garlic vinaigrette. Served with cornbread.

Since it says that is a sweet garlic vinaigrette, maybe you would like to try this similar recipe and see if you like it:

Edinburgh is the ONLY city in Europe I wanna go back to - LOVED IT! (Wish I could help!)

I really want the recipe for Macaroni Grill's chicken, sausage and peppers...

and - a small place in Port Clinton Ohio's Peanut Butter pie - no custard - no whipping/whipped cream.

Macaroni Grill's chicken, sausage and peppers. Did it have a sauce and/or pasta?

Peanut butter Pie. Did it have chocolate?

Macaroni Grill - served with a side of pasta/marinara sauce...

PB Pie - yes chocolate - not in the crust, but like on top...shaved.

(SORRY I forgot to come back here right away!)

This is a copycat recipe that I just created.

I was trying to duplicate the Burger King Apple Cider Vinaigrette. I tried apple juice concentrate from frozen, apple jelly, etc. Nothing was strong enough. Then I hit on an idea that really worked. I tried Spiced Cider Apple Flavor Drink Mix powder (sugar free). 1/2 teaspoon of the drink mix power was enough to flavor 1 cup of the salad dressing.

Burger King Ken's Creamy Apple Cider Vinaigrette Copycat

1/2 tsp Spiced Cider Apple Flavor Drink Mix powder (sugar-free like Alpine or Mott's)
1/3 cup Vanilla Yogurt (like Dannon)
    1/2 cup Mayonnaise
    2 tsp Cider Vinegar

Add ingredients to a small mixing bowl. Mix well.
Use on Chicken, Apple & Cranberry Garden Fresh Salad, etc.

    Makes about 1 cup.

Here is the salad that the copycat dressing was created for:

Burger King Chicken, Apple & Cranberry Garden Fresh Salad Copycat

1 bag spring mix salad greens
1 red apple, cored, cut in half and then sliced
2 pieces grilled chicken breasts, chopped
    1/4 cup dried cranberries
    1/8 cup crumbled blue cheese

Divide the salad greens among 4 salad plates.

Top each salad with the apple slices, dried cranberries and crumbled blue cheese.

Serve with creamy apple cider vinaigrette

WTB - I don't see that you've posted that recipe yet, but you have to! The chicken, apple, cranberry salad is what I always eat if we have to go to BK. I can't eat the whole thing at one sitting, so I have to divide up the salad and the dressing. I hate that the dressing packet tends to fold over and could possibly make a mess in my fridge overnight.
Not only would I love to have the apple cider dressing available so I don't have to split the package that comes with the BK salad, but I would be saving a lot of money making both the dressing and salads myself.

Thanks for cloning this one! Post it so I can photograph and review it for you when I make it. icon_biggrin.gif
