Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and wished you knew the recipe of the dish you just tried, or at least begged the Chef for the recipe?
This is the thread to ask in. Let the members of food.com know what your in search of-you never know, someone just might have it!
I could kick myself for not asking for recipes when I ate at Henderson's Restaurant in Edinburgh Scotland. Everything I ate rocked-so if anyone has one please post it!

Edinburgh is the ONLY city in Europe I wanna go back to - LOVED IT! (Wish I could help!)
I really want the recipe for Macaroni Grill's chicken, sausage and peppers...
and - a small place in Port Clinton Ohio's Peanut Butter pie - no custard - no whipping/whipped cream.
Sigh!

Macaroni Grill's chicken, sausage and peppers. Did it have a sauce and/or pasta?
Peanut butter Pie. Did it have chocolate?

I dined at an O'Charley's restaurant some years back and they had one of the best Eggplant Parmesan's I've ever tasted and I've always wanted the recipe for their Balsamic dressing too!

I had a champagne cheesecake years ago at a place called Crazy Mary's. I'd love the recipe for that.

Chocolatl,
As you must know, it is difficult to find the exact recipe you want from that restaurant, but if you are interested in recreate one similar, I have three different recipe versions of the Champagne Cheesecake:
One is champagne and strawberries cheesecake.
Other one is with strawberries and champagne in a chocolate graham crackers crust cheesecake.
And another one is with chocolate, champagne, raspberries and cream cheese.
Not sure if you already have checked them out, but let me know if you want to see them, ok?.

Sharon,
I found out that O'Charley's sells their own salad dressings in a jar. Take a look of this:
O' CHARLEY'S AT HOME -
http://www.ocharleysathome.com/products/dressings.html
WHERE TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS:
http://www.ocharleysathome.com/where.html
And about the recipe for Eggplant Parmesan that you want, is not even described in their menu.

Sally,
These is the description of the ingredients included in the garlic dipping sauce that you want from Dominos' Pizza:
"The ingredients for the Domino's Garlic & Herb Dip are as follows:
Vegetable Oil, Pasteurized Egg Yolk, Water, Vinegar, Garlic, Sugar, Parsley, Lactic Acid, Lemon Juice, Salt, Milk Protein, Mustard, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Guar Gum, Xanthum Gum".
The vegetable oil, egg yolk, water, vinegar, sugar and lactid acid are basically mayonnaise. You might try a commercial mayonnaise or make your own and add some garlic (fresh or a powder), mustard, lemon juice and parsley.

I would love to find a recipe for the sauce Round Table uses on their Hawaiian pizza ( I call it Hula Loola, but I don't remember their name for it. It's sweet and white.

I've already checked them out. The one I want is just champagne, no chocolate or fruit.
Thanks anyway!
