Cornmeal/uncooked polenta would work, friend.

That is a really good tip! We use Masa, which is cornmeal and a little water mixed to a paste. It adds thickening power without an uncooked taste! Just mix some up similar to how you would mix cornstarch or flour and water. Then stir in and let cook for about 15 minutes or more!

Great ideas! I love to add cooked tortillas to dishes that have lots of liquid and cook for another 15 minutes or so to break down the tortillas. Great use for stale ones too!
