    Rotissereie Prime Rib Roast

    I am looking to rotisserie a 6 lbs prime rib of beef roast on the bbq. Any suggestions on cooking time and seasoning?

    I love to use my rotisserie on the BBQ. Have used it for both chicken and turkey but never a roast. I would imagine its the much the same technique. I always use my broil pan under the meat and add different liquids and seasonings allowing them to season the meat while its cooking. You could use a red wine and water mix maybe with some fresh herbs, garlic, onions.
    You might have inspired me to try a roast. Not sure about the time to cook but with prime rib you would want it medium rare so maybe a meat thermometer to check temp once in awhile?
