I received this email to day. Anneleis was a very special person and she fought so hard to beat Cancer. May she rest in peace

I am very sorry to have to tell you that my beloved Annelies died on 7th July in Ipswich Hospital. She passed away peacefully during the night whilst I was at her bedside. The pains and sickness caused by the cancer had become too much for her body to take and the hospital could only keep her comfortable with morphine based medication so that her last days were calm and pain free.
We are currently making her funeral arrangements and expect it to take place on Thursday 21st July at New Southgate cemetery in North London.

If anybody would like to celebrate her association with us, here are her recipes: Pets'R'Us Recipes

It would be nice to have a cookathon in her honor.

Sleep pain free my friend....Go get your reward. The windmill's blades have stopped rotating, but Angel's wings await. You will be missed, dear heart.

So very sad that the awful cancer has taken another wonderful person from us, but her battle is over and loved ones were with her. We will not forget her.wave.gif

I'm going to kick it off with:

Should we post this in some of the other forums?

I knew Annaleis from the Critter Cafe among other places here... I just wanted to express my condolences here in her "home" forum....... A lot of us are very sad today. May she rest in peace and may her family and friends find comfort in happy memories.

I knew Pets from the days before MEP passed, and Annelies and I wrote back and forth about cancer and how she was encouraging MEP. Now, this dear lady is gone, but her sweet spirit and loving nature toward other people has given most of us inspiration.
