In order to have a steak Argentinian style you will need a few things.
Steak of choice. Ribeyes cut to 1 and 1/2 inches thick. Skirt or flank are also good choices. Skirt is on the thin side so it will cook fast. All three cuts are loaded with solid beef flavor, which is what your looking for. Right?
A grill. Sorry, but if your looking for authentic your gonna need one, preferably charcoal.
Chimichurri Sauce. It's a pungent combination of raw garlic, oregano, vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, and parsley, along with just a touch of dried red chilies. It will also end up being green so prepare yourself. It's not your Grandmother's A-1 steak sauce
For a side I like to grill summer squash brushed with the chimichurri sauce and thick slices of grilled bread to dip in......yeah, chimichurri sauce. Did I mention it's addictive?
