I spent a good hour or two adding a recipe of mine to this site.I originally made it private so i could edit it till i got it added correctly. After i added my photo's and they were approved, I changed my recipe to public, and over a week later now, it still has not been made public, nor have a got a message or email with a status report on my recipe.Whats the problem here?

Back in the day, it used to takes many weeks to get a recipe published here. NOW, it generally just takes a couple of days.

The staff have been shorthanded lately, which slows down the editorial process drastically. As long as you got the message your recipe was successfully submitted when you entered it, it's in the approval queue.

This is going to sound odd, but to check on your recipe's progress, click on INBOX up near your name in the right hand corner. Scroll down on the resulting page about halfway down on the right side and click on TRACK MY SUBMISSIONS.

If you don't see your entry there, you'll need to notify Mary in the Customer Support forum of the recipe/s title so she can manually check the queue.

FYI, the staff don't generally work over the weekends or on US holidays. You will likely have an answer from them in that forum during business hours, US ET.
