    1st time cooking with Crock Pot.

    I started my crock pot this morning with my pork and added just BBQ sauce at around 9:30am. I just checked on it and it is very watery. Will this thicken up? icon_confused.gif

    Usually not - I generally cook pork, drain off the liquid, and add the bbq sauce for the last couple hours or so - of course, some recipes differ. There are some ingredients that will help sauces thicken, not sure which recipe you are using. Or you can take off the lid and keep on high for 30 minutes or so, or pour into saucepan and reduce the sauce.
