My boys are rather shy and don't like it when I post photos of them online but I'm making an executive (Mom) decision icon_wink.gif and using some photos of them helping me in the kitchen a couple of months ago. They were making a big fruit salad so the photos fit in well with the theme icon_cool.gif

I spent the weekend with my daughter's family. My 3 year old granddaughter, Violet, was happy to help Oma (me) with my art project. She colored and cut a pineapple and a coconut tree, too, but we already had enough on our plate! She included grapes, banana, kiwi and orange juice.

Thankyou Linky and Violet. Beautiful work.perfect!! icon_biggrin.gif
Lunch looks like a yummy fruit salad

My 3 year old niece, Giuliana, coloured this happy coconut musician, drinking from a coconut! icon_eek.gif

Although her 3rd birthday party was yesterday, I used the photo from her 2nd birthday party because of her tropical attire!

She used some markers. We tried to get her to use q-tips and food colouring diluted with water for fun but that didn't last long at all! rotfl.gif The results were not colorful enough or quick enough! (You can see a bit of green there if you look hard...)

Thanks Nif and Giuliana. Great work and it can be very hard to ask a three year old to sit still long enough to colour icon_biggrin.gif

We are having a hard time fulfilling this challenge. (lack of cameras OR lack of kids icon_sad.gif ) I was wondering if I may ask a neighbor's child to color for us, and for it to be allowed as a separate entry. I'll wait for your sage advice! icon_biggrin.gif

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Alli

Sounds a perfect option to me icon_biggrin.gif
Really the object of the challenge was to get some kids having fun and participating with us.

Round em up Alli and get them colouring ! icon_lol.gif icon_biggrin.gif

He is 7 and a cutie pie; we had some trouble identifying some of the fruits in the pics, so we used 'poetic license!' icon_biggrin.gif

    Hi, I have a question:
I saw that most of chef completed this challange with photos of the children. I'm not a friend of putting children's photos in the internet, but I would like to know if we get more points ("secret challanges") for this.
    Plese let me know!

    wave.gif Hi awalde

No....no secret points for posting children's photos.
We made the challenge artwork, being aware that some players don't like to post their kids photos on the net.

We just all love seeing the kids have fun icon_biggrin.gif

    for the

My 3 year old son Maddock and I worked on our project for 4 days! He has been learning how to use glue and scissors, so we did a lot of coloring with crayons, markers, pencils and paints. I helped him cut out the pictures. Then he painted a canvas and glued the colored pictures of fruit onto the canvas.

He colored a pineapple, coconut, kiwi, lemon, orange, blueberries, cherries, bananas, mushroom, and fruit basket( I think that's everything!)

He was very proud of his finished project icon_smile.gif

My sons have completed the ZWT7~ Pacific Islands~Kids Forum Gauguin-tic Fruit Challenge

My 11 yr old chose to paint his picture with water colors, was not really into it until I told him he could take a picture of it himself. He enjoys taking pictures, so that thrilled him.

Here is his water color painting and pictures taken by him.

My 13 yr old enjoys drawing, so he chose to draw a mango with coconut drinks and palm trees. He also took the picture of his drawing.

I am bringing this forward (from page 2 of this thread). It's not marked as complete on Page 1, so I am wondering if the photo is too small or something? (Nyteglori was trying to post a larger photo--and she even made a few attempts at it in our team thread, but she did not have any luck. This is as big as the photo would get.)
