Well, we still have our youngest son to get married and start a family. He is in no hurry to do either one though!

Here is my latest photo of the little fella.

I don't know when I will be able to meet him for the first time. With any luck 2015!

Adorable little fellow! Sorry it's surrounded by so much drama. Babies are such good news, scream it from the rooftops, say I.

All I can say is four out of five kids take after their father's family and are decidedly weird about things like that. I couldn't figure him out in 22 years of marriage and I doubt I will ever understand them.

Example - when my father in law passed away, NOBODY was allowed to go to the funeral. Just my ex mother in law, my husband, his two sisters and his one brother. Everybody else was completely shut out of everything. It was really weird. That is a family that doesn't share anything with anyone.

    Good morning,
Gosh that is a bit strange just last month my cousin passed he was the first cousin to pass and you couldn't get in the crematorium and the car park was filled with folk, I do have rather a big family with lots of cousins I think everyone in the village he lived in was there to pay there respects it was sad and very touching.
Anyways forget that lot you are better of without those outlaws, that's what my DH calls them, icon_lol.gif just looking at that wee boy makes your heart fill with love such a wee darling.
I have been away for a few days my friend has a lodge in Arbroath so we had a nice girlie few days it was very nice lot's of blethering and laughter, when I got home my old boss had left me a message on my phone offering me a nice wee job it's too good to pass up, just one and a half hours a day and I can suit myself when I do it so I am going for it as I don't get unemployment benefit and every little helps I did feel a bit lazy not working I am 61 on Friday and have worked since I was 15 I had my babies and went right back to work so being idle is hard for me.

Congrats on the joy offer Jenny! Sounds like it will be just right!

Yes, it is only 5:45 am and I have been up for hours now. I had a tooth pulled on Wednesday and it is causing me an incredible amount of pain. icon_cry.gif It was a molar and the crown broke up when he was pulling it and so he had to dig the roots out. icon_cry.gif

Poor pussycat had to have leg amputated after all...she is not a happy bunny at the moment, although I think the collar to stop her licking the wound is more of a problem to her than the hopping about on three legs!

My gosh - this place like the rest of is dead, lets try and kick start it again everyone, I came on specially to pass this on to you - heard about it on the radio this afternoon, and we have just registered our number

The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is a free service. It is the official central opt out register on which you can record your preference not to receive unsolicited sales or marketing calls. It is a legal requirement that all organisations (including charities, voluntary organisations and political parties) do not make such calls to numbers registered on the TPS unless they have your consent to do so.
Organisations with which you have an ongoing relationship, for example those who regard you as a customer, (or in the case of charities - a donor) may well gather your consent during the early stages of your relationship with them and will therefore be entitled to call you even if your number is registered on TPS, unless you have previously told them specifically that you object to them calling you for marketing purposes.

I know Joy . . . it's sad to see what this place has come to . . . and we used to be such a close bunch. I miss the old days. Made some really close friendships on here.

Todd and I registered with those people a few months back, but we are still getting the phone calls. Not sure what the answer is. I think it's criminal that these people can continue to harrass you in the comfort of your own home! It's also really annoying because it is usually during supper!

How are things settling into your new home?

We are off to a day trip into Wales today. May go to Colwyn Bay, or however you spell it. Should be nice now the kiddos are back to school.

    Hi there girls,
calls like that are just a pain I usually don't say anything when I pick up the phone and when they start to rant I just click and they are gone he he, he,

have a nice trip Marie wales isn't a place we have been to a lot maybe we should have a look at that for a holiday.

Joy I could do with a decorator we have had a fortnight from hell here. DH's dad passed and the funeral is tomorrow which was just awful.
My son had a bad accident and broke his thigh bone and has had to have a titanium pin in it so I have him back home to care for, then my Granddaughter's partner was told he had a 95% chance he had cancer they have just had a baby nine months ago he is 19yr old we were all devastated only to find out a few days later the hospital made a terrible mistake and he didn't have it, I think he should sue but he said he is just so so happy that he doesn't have it, how bad was that, I think it's disgusting. then my bathroom flooded and my hover blew up which looking at everything else that has happened was nothing but what a fortnight we have had.
We have lost a lovely old Gent but he had a good life 85 yrs so we will be celebrating his life not mourning him just what he wanted us to do, although we are very sad we have a lot to be grateful for my son could of been killed and my grandson in law could be dying, thank god for looking after our family

Hi everyone. Cant believe no-one has been here for such a long time.
Actually the only reason I'm here is to thank TT for her easy bread recipe on her blog. For some reason only known to my DH I cannot post a comment there. out of habit I added a whole sachet of yeast and then worried all night that the dough was going to overflow and creep across the carpet. No, it as fine and the bread turned out well and very much like a foccaccia. I wonder if the crumb would be less holey if there was less yeast - like in the recipe!!!! Half the loaf has been eaten warm. just so that we could test it and Im sure I will be making this again and again. Its absolutely ideal for when you cant get out to the shops to buy one. Interestingly enough there is no sugar in the recipe, but it doesnt taste as if its missing.
We have had a very busy summer with our holiday school and then a working trip to the Netherlands. My dishwasher broke at the most inconvenient time and Im embarrassed at how quickly you can actually wash up! my tumble dryer also broke, but I have been using the washing line outside and have only bought one now that the weather has changed so dramatically. I reckoned I had been drying outside since the middle of June. That about 4 months worth of electricity saved., just as well as we had the heating on so much more over the winter.
Im keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that the trip we have planned to Hanoi actually happens. We are waiting on so many people to give us the go ahead. If just one person doesnt agree, the whole trip is off. And that would be a shame.

Well thats typical, I have not been getting notifications icon_sad.gif Congrats Marie on yet another addition to your family!! Tea Jenny, oh my you really have had a tough time, sorry to hear about your fater in law.. always such a sad time, we are on our way home right now from our Aunts funeral - such a wonderful lady and she will be sadly missed. sorry to hear about your Son, hope he mends soon and that your daughters b/friend did not have cancer. yeah makes you so upset when mistakes like that happen, but at least the end result was good. seems that we will be busy for a few days next week, we have people coming to prune/take out trees etc etc cut the hedge rows and they will be with us for 2 days and my kitchen gear is being installed wheile they are here. we are having a new wall oven, induction hob and extractor... the kitchen is great, but the equipment was very aged so we figure that as the house was less than our budget get it all fixed now.

Damned drivers, why the heck some guy decides its o,.k. to overtake us another car and a truck in one go then nearly hits oncoming traffic!!! better to get there 5 minutes late than not at all icon_evil.gif
