Well, here is what I have been doing. I love making my own greeting cards for all occasions and here are two Ive made for this year's Easter celebrations. I got the crazy chicken idea from an advertisement of a parisian chocolatier that I had picked up when I visited Paris a few years back.
These are just simple, plain cardboard cards, but I like their vivid colours and child-like design.
Cant wait to see what you come up with!

Love the cards. I haven't even thought about Easter yet. Still ST Patty's Day to get through. I used to make Easter Chocolates when my kids were little. You can also make a really cute little bunny or chick with the mini clay flower pots. For the bunny, use 2 white pompoms, one the right size to fit the top of the pot, the other small enough to look like a tail. Cut feet from foam, & ears. Glue on googly eyes & a tiny pink pompom for a nose. The chick is just a yellow pompom, eyes and a tiny beak cut from orange felt, pipe cleaner feet glued on. The chick can also be done using the 2 piece plastic eggs, glue the pompom in the large end, eyes & a beak and it is done.

Hey there, Demelza!
Youre right, easter is still some time away but Im already excited about it... (Part of that is due to the fact that in Germany where Im living theres no other holiday before easter now as we dont celebrate St. Patrick's Day)
I love your ideas of how to make mini bunnys and chicks. They sound lovely and fairly easy to make, too, which is always a plus for me.
If you like you could also share a pic of the ones you made in the past with us. Id love to see how they look.
And about the chocolates, thats definitely something Im going to make, too. I also found this recipe which Im curious to try: Cherry Coconut Easter Eggs (Gluten-Free)

They look absolutely gorgeous! I especially like the heart, so beautiful! Are they made from wood?

Thanks for the enthusiasm! Nothing I enjoy more than someone finding them pretty.
Yep, they are wood. The keychains are actually made from former counter top samples that have expired in usefulness, and it's a way to upcycle them. I am still working out finishes on them. The heart and suns are already laser cut wooden craft items that are completely unfinished, so I sand them if they need it, paint and finish them, and put cords or pin backs on them. Some of the details I do with tube fabric paints.

Hi Loula and everybody there, my favorites are Onion and Herbs Deyed Easter Eggs #451155!
Dying eggs is very common in Switzerland, but not everybody knows that it's so easy and you don't need to buy special colors!
Today I prepared these ones:lol:

Wow, Awalde, those look absolutely stunning! I love dying eggs for easter but never tried to make the paint at home (instead I bought very expensive organic dye which looked good but not better than your one). So Im absolutely going to try your recipe. Sounds easy enough for me to handle and the result looks so pretty!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this here!

I love your dyed eggs! I just joined today and was looking around. I love crafts and have never seen eggs done in this way. Can't wait to give some of the colors a try. Now I just have to see if I have some nylons laying around!!
