    Crock Pot Size Question

There's a crockpot recipe that only makes 6 servings of oatmeal. What size crock pot should I use? Is a 5Q OK, or do I need a smaller one?

I would use a smaller one. Ideally it should be at least half full. 5 quarts is 20 cups, so this would be y a bit too big. if you do go with the 5 qt size, you will want to start checking it early, as it will cook faster than the recipe indicates.
