    Hello,

I am usually the cookie maker, and it works out just fine. But this year we are traveling from around the 15th to the 21st and then the 23rd to the 27th. Does anyone have any tips on planning ahead...such as types of cookies that freeze well, types of dough that can be made ahead and/or frozen, etc?

I'd hate to get back from the first trip and make myself uber frazzled by doing double duty.

I do know (I think!) that the seven layer bars freeze (and unfreeze!) very well.

These freeze very well and on top of it are very delicious cookies, but you have to use very small cookie cutters for cutting out the shapes or they break very easily. "Cream Wafers" We have also done Spritz cookies and Russian Teacakes and frozen them with good success. Good luck

I have been told that danish butter cookies freeze well. They are press cookies so you can make them pretty fancy icon_smile.gif and then there are the danish wedding cookies. the two I plan on trying are I Love Danish Wedding Cookies and #156610.

    Hey there wave.gif

These cookies are all labelled OAMC, which means they can be frozen. Maybe there's one there that interest you.
