    There was a rest. in Wichita KS named La Palma. Owned by Inez and
    Herman Reyes. Does anyone out there have any of their recipes, Especially the chiquita special?

    La Palma a favorite. Returned to Wichita after 28 year absence. Great disappointment La Palma no longer there. Anyone have recipe for the pork chile verde or the super tostada ?

    It's so difficult to help with recipes from mom-and-pop restaurants that have been closed for decades. That restaurant has been closed for 20 years, but it must have been a wonderful place to dine, judging by all the comments Google brings up.

    I can't find a recipe for their green chili pork, but I can highly recommend Chile Verde Con Cerdo (Green Chili With Pork) and Huevos Rancheros Tostados. Click on the links to see the recipes. They've been tried and very highly rated by some of the best cooks on the site. Hopefully, you'll agree with them! yummy.gif

    The Chiquita Supreme is a super big tostado. Crisp tortilla (large) refried beans, lettuce, cheese, chunks of tender pork, slices of avocado, and a really good green chile sauce and sour cream.

    They would have lines out the door on the weekends.
