This is a great app for recipes, but it only lets you import from Food.com; not export. And there is nothing for menu planning, which is what I really want. does anyone know of a good menu planning app?

I wasn't willing to pay $2.99 for My Recipe Book, not when this version has 6 1-star reviews (and nothing higher).

I just tried importing a recipe from food.com into the Paprika app, and it worked beautifully. Highly rated app, seems pretty good. Looks like food.com missed the boat!

I agree, I would love to be able to look up recipes more easy on my android phone. Right now I have to go through the web to the sight, but to be able to go from an app would be so much easier!

We definitely need an app for this site. I've been bouncing around Epicurious & BigOven but neither site works as well as this one, in my opinion.

Honestly, if they are not going to take care of getting an App for these smartphone platforms, then at least make a mobile version of the full site. Navigating it as is is so cumbersome! Including making this post! So tired of dealing with it....seriously shopping around for another site.

Just putting in my two cents, I would also like to see an app for food.com. I have been checking to see if one has been released periodically for almost a year now. Hopefully, enough requests will produce results icon_smile.gif

glad to know others out there are feeling the same way as I am....... I would love an app for my Nook color please! It would make reading, planning menus/meals, and grocery shopping right at my finger tips, since I save food.com for all my recipes.

I currently am using pepperplate app. It lets you import recipes from up to 20 different online food sites like food.com, foodnetwork.com, epicurious.com, allrecipes.com, ,and many more. You can just copy the URL link and it will save that recipe on that page. BUT, you pretty much have to start from the start again, by finding your favorites at food.com, and all the site and import them.

I would really like to see an app. I would be willing to pay for it, if it will make my cooking and shopping experience A LOT easier!

    Thanks!! icon_smile.gif

I have REPEADLY ASKED THEM about this and the answers has been "We don't know but not until next year". Don't they even know what their projects are with due dates? All it projects work like that! otherwise things never get done, they are REALLY behind the times in this and do not understand the importance to thei custoners, Did you ever have to look something on the sight from the supermarket? What a nightmare! They needtobuy get with the program to compete ,

I almost used allrecipes.com because they have an app. I really wish food.com would get one! I am new to this site, but I love it already!

Don't hold your breath! Apparently, what we want has not been a priority since they have done nothing on this for all of the last year that we have been asking. They never seem to even ask users what they want or need. They just change things that are usually NOT in high demand. mostly just cosmetics vs any new functionality. Really sad on their part since it makes them appear incompetent in their ability do do anything substantive. WE NEED THE APP! Please, please give us a real date.
