    Pakistani desserts?

Some Pakistani friends of mine are holding a foodie fundraiser on Eid Ul-Fitr to raise money for those affected by the Pakistani floods.
My daughter also turns 3 that day.

Are there any Pakistani dessert recipes that could double up as a birthday cake? What cakes/desserts do Pakistanis make for special occasions?

Maybe you would have more ideas thrown at you if you ask in the Asian forum where Pakistan is covered. Personally I only know of a carrot pudding recipe that is authentic, but I wouldn't recommend it. I did see a mango cheese cake option on the site the last poster gave but not sure if that is really authentic in itself. I would bet mangoes are though so if you're not worried about it being completely authentic then I'd say search for a mango cheesecake that has been tried and rated well. Or try one beforehand. I hope you find what you are searching for.
