HI, I'm trying out my new bread machine and I love spelt flour recipe's . So I want to try this recipe : Three Minute Spelt Bread--- but the U.S. measurements are in lb's which I don't know how to convert to cup's and teaspoons ect... the ingredients are:

Down toward the bottom of each page is a number of listings for assorted things, included a measurement converter. Using just 1.10 and selecting lbs to oz. you get 17 5/8 oz, or in practical terms, about an oz and a half more than 2 cups. Some things it's good to have a scale for, or several different measuring tools..I haven't used a bread machine before for spelt, I just make it by no-knead method..

Thank You for writing back. I typed this formula into google search: 500g = ? cups... and found the right answer 500 g = 5 cups, I did this all the way through the recipe. here is what came up: 5 cups spelt flour, 2.5 tsp. yeast,
(or one pkg.) 1/4 c sunflower seeds, 1/4 c sesame seeds, omit linseeds, 2 c water.
I have made all my breads in my new machine using spelt, oat, buckwheat, arrowroot, and brown rice flours. after reading-wheat belly- I have to find an alternative bread for my kids.
thank you for your input, Milissa
