I'm not very good with pictures, but I do have one brown mug that I use for both coffee and tea.

I have a request, if it's not too much to ask. Is there a link to the previous swap or a list that once was posted that I can view. This way I have a much better idea of what to look for, for my partner, or even for myself. I seem to be limited to different brands/flavours of coffee and tea, and some sweeteners. Maybe if I see what others got in the past, or what other things I can send I can expand my list of things to buy and request.

Thanks for the links, they were interesting to look through, and it gave me plenty of ideas. I can't wait for the partners to be posted, so I can get to know him/her and vice versa.

Interesting thing about my city, for anyone who is pondering what they want. My local supermarket, though part of a major supermarket chain, carries many Israeli products because it is in a predominantly Jewish neighbourhood. The nearest metro (subway as the Americans and rest of Canada) call it has several ethnic stores nearby. Especially an Indian store.

I also plan to go apple picking in two weeks, I might pick up one or two items, though I really don't know how to shlep it home with all the apples I may pick up for the Jewish High Holidays. Rosh Hashanah comes two days after Labour Day, so I'll also be busy helping my mother cook (I'm so excited to make Honey cake icon_biggrin.gif )

One year when doing this swap I was partnered with someone from Jerusalem. I loved all the coffee she sent. She sent a book with pictures she had taken of different coffee shops. it was so interesting.
Your Honey Cake sounds so good. I don't think I have ever had it. I will have to look it up.
Apple picking is one of my favorite things to do. We have a neighbor down the road (2 miles) that lets me come down and pick all the apples I want. I will make apple pies and applebutter. icon_biggrin.gif

I was looking for something on photobucket and came across this. Just thought I would share.

Someone was creative - don't think I would ever do this - but talk about recycling.

Anyone ever seen a pink coffee pot before? Just thought I would share. I would love to have a green one to match my kitchen.

The coffee pot picture didn't show the full picture as it did on photobucket. I don't know what happened.

Question for the day - What type of coffee / tea pot do you have.

I have a Mr. Coffee drip, I also have one I can make one cup of coffee at a time - always forget that name - and sometimes I just heat up some water and enjoy a cup of instant Starbucks coffee.

I also have teapot, I call it a simple one. Though again if I could find a green one that matches my kitchen I would get it. LOL
