I need some help! I'll be in the presence of someone who's gluten-free next week at a work training and would like to bring treats for everyone...I want to make sure everyone is included, so I'd like to make some gluten-free cookies. I've never made gluten-free anything so I'm turning to you for help! Any tips I should keep in mind (can I use butter or margarine for example) and I've checked out some gluten-free flours at my grocery store....can you recommend your favorite gluten-free cookie recipe that both celiacs and non-celiacs will dive into?? TIA!

These are my faves for ease of cooking that I have tried from Zaar. I've reviewed all of these recipes and left photos for them too

    Walnut Dreams - Biscuits
    Crescent Cookies

I don't know if oats work for gluten-free diets...I really like this recipe: Vegan Wheat-free Chocolate Chip Cookies. In Veganomicon they list it as being gluten free (I think), but I know some people who can't have wheat also can't have oats. I like it also because it uses oil instead of butter or marg, plus no eggs.

    G'luck!

Some gluten free people can have oats and some can't icon_smile.gif
