I did a complete Indonesian dinner a while ago consisting of:
Peanut wafers, [recipe=nnnnn]Bergy Dim Sum #1, Pork & Lettuce rolls[/recipe], Shrimp Crisps, Rice, Beef Sate, Bahmi Goring, Meatballs,Gado Gado,Chicken satay,Fried onion Flakes. If anyone is interested I will post the missing recipes. I think there is a gado gado recipe byCarol H already on Zaar. Just let me know. I printed up menus with the Indonesian names of the dishes with no English translation so every dish was a surprise.

Bergy you are making me drool. I think it would be so fantastic to be invited to a dinner at your house. I'd imagine your guests love it too. Every little detail. What a wonderful Chef/Hostess you are!

I love it Leeann. One of my guests that night makes all the time and hers is sooooo good I didn't think it was right to serve it that night. A restaurant in Vancouver that I used to go to many years ago did a 20 course Indonisian Rice Table - fabulous, every course was of course very tiny but oh so tasty
