I'm on the look for a low fat salad dressing, preferably without mayo.
Things I like:garlic,lemon,herbs,hot sauce,soy sauce,ginger,yogurt,olive oil.
It doesn't have to be zero fat.

Wow. This is exactly what I was looking for. Haven't been on Zaar for a looooong time (since all the changes). So glad the forums are still here.

I would avoid all low-fat salad dressings (especially commercial) as they use questionable ingredients as fillers, preservatives and spices.
You are much better off making your own dressing with the ingredients listed previously.
I really enjoy creating salad dressings with Tahini sauce, olive oil, raw apple cider vinegar, sea salt, fresh chopped chives and freshly ground pepper. Yummy. It tastes terrific and is a terrific whole food complex of Vitamin E (great for heart health), healthy fat and vinegar, minerals and molybdenum from pepper for detoxification.
Goat yoghurt, chopped fresh herbs, are all terrific salad ingredients. The simpler, the less ingredients, the better.
Enjoy the healthy fat, enjoy your salad, regards Rika Keck.
