I'm just curious...sometimes we post threads and get almost no response (or none...like my brainstorm thread). Makes us wonder how many folks are actually checking this forum...
So now I'm curious...how many lurkers and posters do we actually have here in EF/S?
If you're here and you opened this thread, please reply to it. Even if you just say, "Hi!" or wave, or...something! Please let us know you're here and you have a pulse!

I am always checking in and out. I tell you...it's SLOW in here!
I know...maybe everyone already had the information they need.

Admittedly I don't know whether I lack answers or not. Probably I don't know the questions I'd ask, so I just pop in to check if there are questions and answers I didn't think of

I'm here. Normally I only check in to see what questions have been asked. I don't really know what to ask, even though this is a very important topic to me. I have thought of one question that I will post in a new thread.

I'ld like to echo the sentiments above about not knowing what questions to ask. (And, if I check in, once in a while someone asks a question I should have thought of.)
I would like to also state here, since we are talking about our group and our silence, that my presence here is a little less from a desire to know everything there is to know about emergency preparation and a little more from a moderate case of insomnia. Which is from stress. Also, if I may psychoanalyze myself, I also wonder if my lurking here at least once a week is a symptom of the uncertainties I perceive in my life.
So far, it actually seems like a healthy obsession, so I'm not trying to fight it. Also, I feel some satisfaction from my emergency preparation, and in coming here, a little less stress. Sooo . . .Thanks.

I've wondered about this, too.
So, I understand we should talk about something new. hmmmmm. A challenge for this season (spring in the U.S.?) Or is that offensive?

I think it's a great idea to be prepared for hard times...regardless of what your definition of "hard times" is (war, job loss, illness, etc.). Being prepared, and being interested in being prepared, isn't an obsession in and of itself.
We're glad to have you here.
