Hi there, ladies!
Thanks for the invitation, Molly. And Zurie! I know you mailed me once or twice to get myself onto the discussion boards.
Well, I finally made it! I have been here a couple of times, but there are so many topics & before you know it, there are kids to feed and and and... I'm sure you know the drill. But I'M HERE!!!
Oh, & somewhere along the line someone "adopted me"? and tried out my recipes. Thanks! Always nice to see someone likes what I can come up with.

I wonder if we've acquired any more African members who might like to add their name?

Joy's in Africa!
Oh wow, Joy, I hope you enjoy the safari! Hope it is fairly luxurious! I myself am NOT a camping kind of woman .... But if it's glamorous tents, well, that's different!!
Hope you post some photos here -- if possible.
Where you are going, there might be no Internet.

Here in Nairobi Kenya is the David Sheldrake Elephant Orphanage works wonders saving the lives of many elephants. They are not easy to raise at all and are susceptible to flu and other ailments.
Thee babies are fed every three hours around the clock and lovingly cared for. They will be released into the wild once they are fully able to look after themselves
They are fed every three hours and are seen during the day by visitors. but are fed in their enclosures during the night
Here they are being led in
They are fed at least two huge bottles of milk each
I have just sponsored the largest of these two. he was born early this year
After a meal they get to play games in some mud which they adore
