Similar but not related. Prices what they are, and lack of good choices at the mega mart, I have been looking into making my own butter and cheeses. In reading, I find much NOT to my surprise that the industrial butter and cheese makers have changed their products to suite their needs to make a profit and not necessarily what the actual product really is. You may actually be better off than you think you are as far as what you have available. If I want REAL cultured butter or a REAL cheese I have to shell out a boat load of cash. I don't know if you are a native in Mexico or if you are a transplant, But I say you should embrace the chance to experience what the world has to offer.
