ingredients to kraft boxed spaghetti spice herb mix

Please someone help. I only use the spice packet & throw away the pasta & it's such a waste. If anyone knows the answer to this please provide recipe. It would be much appreciated.

The ingredients should be listed on the box, in the order of largest quantity to least. I have never tried this product, so cannot suggest anything that might be a starting point.

Why on earth would you throw away the pasta and grated cheese? I would assume you're probably making spaghetti with the spice packet, but even if you're not you can use them for other things, after all!

The ingredient list is not remotely helpful, as it lists several herbs and then "spices". I haven't been able to duplicate it myself, but we do eat it quite regularly.

Maybe you can contact Kraft and see if they sell a similar spice or sauce mix. I think they sell the mac and cheese powder as a separate item, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility.

If you don't use it for the spaghetti that night, Add it to a plastic baggie. I have one in my pantry and I often throw leftover pieces in it. It is great to throw in soups. Even the cheese, not real, but it would be ok in a vinaigrette or in a sauce for a little flavor. I definitely wouldn't throw it out.

I agree, why toss the pasta? You are paying a premium for an over-processed product with a lot of salt, the pasta is the most valuable part of this!
Please don't think we are criticizing you on this, we are not. What are you using the packet for? I'm really curious!

I am curious it as well. My baggie in my pantry ... I often use some small plain sandwich bags to keep the different kinds separate. None goes to waste. Can always use it in something.

Sometimes I will take some stock I made, add a few (I know frozen veggies, but I do have some on hand) and some of that pasta, and a simple soup for lunch. You could also add it a few pieces of leftover chicken, or just some mushrooms, anything.

Having never tried the Kraft product, I'm clueless as to what it tastes like or what may be in it.

This is the Italian spice mix I've used for years, it may or may not be similar to what you are looking for.

My family loves the Tangy Italian Herb Spice Sauce Mix. However, none of the grocers in our area carry your product. It would be most helpful if we could purchace the boxed spagetti, better yet if we could purchace the spice mix either in the store or through the mail, or if we could find the recipe for home use. The small box is sometimes too small and several boxes must be used for a large family.
Love the Kraft products as a whole.

Perhaps if you contact Kraft Foods, they can tell you if the seasoning is available by itself instead of in the boxed meal.

You might be able to come close to the mixture from working with the "ingredient listing" on the box. The one unknown is the "spice" which is not listed separately, but with trial and error you should be able to make a reasonable "clone" of the mix.

I fully understand why you would throw out the spaghetti. Wheat spaghetti is much better for a person. I would love to have the ingredients in the spice mix for large crowds.

I too throw away the pasta. I am diabetic, and the plain white flour patsta used in the mix is not allowed on my diet. I need to use Dreamfields low carb pasta or at least whole wheat pasta. But nothing compares to this great tangy sauce mix, so I have no choice but to buy the box and throw away the pasta. Yummm!

Can't you give the pasta away? It's such a waste to throw it out.
