Well it seems I am a little tardy in getting us moving on to a new season but tis the season for the hustle and bustle of the Christmas. So lets sit by the fireplace with family & friends, a hot toddy and some good cheer and bring in the new year!

Well, we post it in CC under some kind of heading... eg

NEW YEARS EVE CANADIAN POTLUCK... ALL ZAARMANIACS ARE INVITED TO SHOW OFF THEIR FAVOURITE NEW YEARS EVE NOSH.....yOU DON'T HAVE TO BE CANADIAN BUT YOU DO HAVE TO BE A ZAARMANIAC. WE HAVE AN OPEN DOOR POLICY HERE... NO PASSWORD, NO SECRET RUBBER DUCKIES POPPING OUT OF THE CEILING.
ADMISSION ONE RECIPE.... FOOD, BEVERAGE OR DESSERT... REMEMBER THIS IS A MIXED MIXER....

    Something like that, Leslie....

This is where we'll be on New Years Eve .............. several hot toddies or Margaritas or whatever icon_wink.gif No worries about the boys in blue or any other guy (or gal) behind the wheel!
As you can see, the new fireplace is long & lean, about the same size as our flat screen TV. Lawrence built the surround to match the other woodwork that he did in the house. The lower unit on the left houses the satellite receiver, DVD player, etc.
It sure makes the room nice & cozy warm ........... just need a bear skin rug icon_lol.gif
