Recipezaar, DESPARATELY needs a true web / mobile app other than going through the pain of using the normal web site from the phone. Really not optimized for mobile. Is there one already? If not, is there any idea when? I hope they are not behind on this curve, when so many other folks are already doing this.

Just let me know the name of the app, and I am there!

It is now months later, and an entire new release, and nothing on this still. I read on the boards that others are waiting too.

Add me if someone is counting votes for mobile app. I love this site and would love to save paper and time printing shopping lists!

I have lots of cookbooks and I'm using an iPad. When I try to add a recipe to a cookbook past the first three cookbooks on my list, I can't scroll down because iPad thinks I'm trying to scroll the whole page! So I can't add recipes to the right place. Just a programming quirk that happens on touch screens, but obviously you're gonna have more and more "viewers like us"! Can't wait for a user friendly food.com app!

Hey! I found a fix for scrolling in a window inside a window! You know how on a touch screen, you want to add a recipe to one of your cookbooks but can't scroll your list of cookbooks (cuz it just scrolls the whole page)? Okay yeah I'm a newbie - use two fingers to scroll within a menu! I am impressed!
Anyhow, please still make a nice clean simple app icon_smile.gif

Waiting, waiting, waiting for an iPad/iPhone app. I hope it's in development! Recipes.com has one and it's really kind of bad. Looks pretty, but not easy to use and hard to navigate. I look forward to yours. Please tell me it's underway....

Yes, please, please, please provide a mobile friendly version of the website. I want to use my android table or smartphone as a cookbook. I don't want to print out more paper recipes!

And please ensure that the font in any mobile app or mobile web view can be enlarged.

I can't believe that a mobile friendly interface is not available yet. Using a tablet or smartphone in the kitchen or while coming up with a menu while shopping, commuting, or at work would seem like an incredible way to build subscriber loyalty.

Sure would be nice to have a phone app for food.com.
if Guy and Troy were still owning this site, we would have had it a year ago...
all recipes.com has one.....you would think a big corp. like scripps would be right on it..

We want one (I personally really want one b/c I cook from my phone and iPad a lot). We've got a mobile-friendly site all designed and are just getting the development resources lined up to finally get it out. There have been dumb delays that are out of our control that have held it up. Hopefully coming to a smartphone near you by January/February 2012.

An app shouldn't be far behind.

I gotta jump on the bandwagon. After several years, I decided to come back & see how food.com had done with recipiezaar. Looking good! HOWEVER - I'm shocked to find there's no android (or iphone) app... or even a mobile site version? I am forced to pre-plan my shopping & menus when I have access to a PC. icon_sad.gif

How nice would it be to plan a meal or look at your cookbook on your phone as you're walking into the store & have your grocery list right there & ready?

I still really like the site, but I guess I'll have to rely mainly on other recipie apps for now.

PLEASE, PLEASE get this done soon!!! (I have never paid for an app, but I would pay for this one!)

I'm glad to hear that a mobile site and app are in the works. Honestly, if I didn't have so many of my recipes posted here along with creating cookbooks of other recipes I've discovered, I would abandon ship and go find a site that already has an app.

You can't imagine how many times I've been in the grocery store and then decided I wanted to make something that I hadn't planned on in advance....but have no way to look up the ingredients.

Just joined the website, fabulous website, wonderful recipes and members; and I found out that it doesn't have a mobile app/webpage to go with it- this is a natural extension of this website; please make it a priority!
