Want to see your or another great chef's photo and bio up in lights? Post a link to their about me page here and I'll get them scheduled!
The requirements...
A photo of the chef (not just the kids or a house, we want a human)
A nice blurb about the chef, can't be blank
Some contributions to the site: reviews, photos, recipes, a combo of contributions is ideal.
We will take any and all and would love ANY help with showcasing all the talented and diverse chefs on RZ!
*****************************************************
Again, a chef can't be COTD more than once, so here is a list of the archived chefs of the day so you can check if they've already had the honor:

Here's a couple suggestions:
Jellyqueen
Queen uh Cuisine
Katzen
They have pictures, recipes and most importantly (IMO) their reviews are well written (not rude)!

GW,
First...thanks SO much for taking the time to look for some, it is like a dream!
All of these are great choices...so great that they've already been COTD, darn it.
It isn't easy finding them, but I really, really appreciate you trying and feel free to post more!

Here's one! I tagged a wonderful recipe of hers in the Unrated Asian tag game & I got a thank you zmail from her that was so sweet. She was so excited because it was her very first review! She'll get adopted quickly during PAC as a preemie & I think she'll be really excited about that too & encouraged to get more involved.
The zmails she'll get when she's COTD might be another way to raise her enthusiasm!

A DUH question: Are the nominations only for new members or are those who have been around for awhile included? So much talent out there!

Couple more I've come across . . .
ByNDii
Chef Joey Z.
Based on the past couple months it looks like they throw in a few of the 'oldies but goodies' every now and then, I know Rita was featured not too long ago.
However if RZ wants to feature new members maybe put something in the new members forum . . . 'if you want to be a featured, chef upload a picture and fill out your profile'.

Great Sticky Liza & some very well respected members that deserve such acknowledgement. I was going to recommend during business hours that you put this request out to the membership for suggestions. Like killing two birds with one stone. Makes it easier for you to make your pick of "Chef of the day".
I will be back with my recommendations. As you asked for help in another thread. I was planning to view the "many" forum hosts that should have their day in the sunlight. Their recipes have also contributed over many years to making this site what it is today !

I just happened to stumble in yesterday and saw this thread, then later on read the thread below about COTD. Not to be a "wet blanket", but would this public nomination process get sidetracked and become "sticky"? Would it eventually lead to misunderstandings and/or hard feelings? As my daughter says, "I'm Switzerland" (neutral), but thought I'd bring that up before this gets real involved.

Thank you Mareesme for your kind concerns/thoughts. I think this is a great idea that Liza has posted. Do not worry I have no intention of ignoring the previous thread. In the mean time it addresses Liza's requested need for help. Lets accept the sticky as a positive to show case some of the members who without their recipes there would not be a Zaars.
