Not really chocolate at all, white chocolate is typically a mixture of sugar, cocoa butter, milk solids, lecithin and vanilla. This product can't be officially classified as "chocolate" because there is no chocolate liquor in it, which means there's also very little chocolate flavor. icon_smile.gif

I've been wondering, why is it that white chocolate is brown in colour?

That's funny, here white chocolate has always been white, which is why they call it white chocolate. icon_wink.gif

It's funny, I usually don't like white chocolate and I avoid it. Well, the last piece of chocolate in the box of Godiva was covered in white chocolate with dark chocolate drizzles, I gave in and ate it. Lucky me it had my favorite filling, the one made with ground almonds. It was sooo good. I don't know if I'll be able to resist the white chocolate ever again. Well, at least whatever comes in my box of Godiva!

When I was a little girl, it just wasn't Easter unless I received a little something in white chocolate. Dark bittersweet chocolate is my absolute favourite, but I do like white chocolate too, although I don't really think of it as "chocolate".

Can't say I have, but I love Toblerone. Maybe I'll have to pick one up.

Thank you for the wonderful response, I was wondering because a friend is allergic to chocolate, and if white chocolate has cocoa butter she probably can't have it either,

There is such a thing as yogurt bars-you might want to check the ingredients though. Di
