This might be a loaded question, but-

Would Scripps be willing to pay food writers for articles used on this website? Something like 50ยข/word, on acceptance? Or some flat rate?
There are really great food writers and bloggers out there, and they deserve respect, as well as a way to support themselves.

Since the subject here is Food Article Ideas, and I do like to stay on topic, I would like to say that as a new member of your extensive site here I am disappointed to see that there is really nothing in the way of high calorie recipes posted for those who need them. Yes it is true that most people are either at a healthy weight, or are overweight, so the most popular recipes are low calorie, but lets not forget there are also people under their healthy weight. I understand the foodies who need a special low calorie menu of some sort, but those who are underweight need to eat too u know?? Those who need low calorie recipes can find recipes here to their hearts content, but the people who need high calorie foods for some reason or another seem to be completely forgotten here! I know many foodies who would love to remove anyone thin from the global community, but truth be told not every thin person is that way by choice! Some people have slow metabolisms, and some others have fast. I understand some people are overweight due to health issues, and/or genetics, therefore making it difficult for them to be an ideal weight. However, these same factors apply to some thin people who have difficulty being an ideal weight. Its just not fair to cater only to those struggling to bring their weight down! And yes there are plenty of high calorie foods out there...but few thin people want to stuff their face with calorie loaded pies and etc. (as delicious as they may be), or fatty meats, or with unhealthy garbage foods just to gain a few pounds!! Please bring some healthy high calorie recipes and informative articles to your website here and make it more well rounded (hehehee), and something that EVERYONE can enjoy and benefit from. Thank you.
