Hello,
I didn't see any instructions for deleting one of my accounts myself. Is it possible?
Thank you.

No, one of the staff will have to do it for you. If you have more then one account (which is against the rules of the site, but happens on accident sometimes), they can move stuff from one to the one you want before closing it down.

Thanks for your quick reply. I've already moved everything that needed moved. Do you have instructions on who I should email to get this account that I'm posting with here closed?
Thanks again!

Thanks again! All you have to do is post the chef # of the account you'd like to be closed and the staff will take care of the rest of it.

Pamzalula,
(cute name)...hey why don't you go into your account and blank out your name and photo, etc and then I'll close it...i'm guessing you want all that gone? You can take it down and then let me know and I'll close you out...tx!

Hi Pamzalula -- I've tried to ask this question before and really didn't get a "concrete" answer. But as far as I could figure it out(from the answers I got) -- there is NO WAY to delete an account once it has been created. If I'm wrong, I'm sure one of the "elves" will confirm this.

Bobbie is correct. The account is not deleted completely. It is closed and made inactive.

Karen, What is the reasoning behind an account not being deleted -- especially when a member has requested it? I understand that any recipes they have posted must remain -- but I'm baffled as to why a membership cannot be "deleted" when requested. I know of no other place where this applies. Do you know -- for example, when Zaar says they have "x" amount of members -- does this number include those who have requested their memberships be deleted or closed?
