Anybody else want to come? Each participant needs to "bring" some of their favorite dishes, as follows:

    Appetizer:
    Main dish:
    Salad:
    Dessert:

You may bring up to two dishes for each course. The only stipulations are that the recipes must be tried and true (by yourself) and the first recipe cannot be your own...it must be that of another chef. The second recipe can either be from another chef or one of your own.

    I'll start...

    Appetizer:
    Christina's Killer Dip by MythThyng
Auntie Nan's Ham & Asparagus Spirals by UnknownChef86

    Main dish:
Chicken Bacon Alfredo Sauce by Bunnyroo171
Unknownchef86's Chipotle Pulled Pork, Chicken or Beef (served with taco "fixin's") by UnknownChef86

    Salad:
    Sesame Noodles by sassafrasnanc
Unknownchef86's Killer Taco Salad by UnknownChef86

    Dessert:
    Tres Leches by Dawn
Rich Fudge Ribbon Bundt Cake by Wildflour, iced with Shiny Kahlua Chocolate Icing by Chef~V (I have yet to serve one of these without the other) icon_lol.gif

If anybody's interested in the recipes collected, I'm starting a cookbook: Virtual Potluck 2009

How fun! I don't have the time to look through my reviews tonight but I am so in! Will be back tomorrow.

What a great idea. Light bulb moment. icon_idea.gif

    Appetizer:
    Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
    Blue Ribbon Stuffed Mushrooms

    Main dish:
    Jacklyn's Crazy Voo-Doo Cheese Enchiladas
    Chile Relleno Casserole

    Salad:
Loaded Baked Potato Salad ( I recommend mayo and not Miracle Whip)
The Potato Salad That Edith Gump and I Make

    Dessert:
    Refrigerated Strawberry Cake
(I recommend some cottage cheese or ricotta on the side to accompany it. A nice palette cleanser)

These aren't necessarily the dishes I would serve at a dinner party but for one reason or another they are my choice for a potluck. wave.gif

Edited: Strawberries With Balsamic Vinegar belongs under the dessert category and served with ricotta or cottage cheese.
