icon_redface.gif Oops... still trying to figure it out. ...
That's me and "Goose" in the photo above (if you can see it). She was one that we hatched 2 years ago.
I should try posting a pic of our Easter babies (from 2 years ago).
I colored the eggs that I put into the incubator! LOL. I wish I could show you the videos of them hatching, but I can only email them.
Have a great night, Potsie & everyone wave.gif

Aw how cute! My mother had a "pet" goose (gander actually) when I was a kid. His name was Willie. (Willie Wonka the Honka icon_redface.gif )

He used to bite me on the backs of my legs. icon_rolleyes.gif He loved Mother, though.

Oh... yippee... you girls can see the pic. I just opened a Photo Bucket account today (thanks in part from the gals in the Community Cafe and Potsie's tutorial).
Her name is "Goose". She was about 6 weeks old in that photo (they grow FAST). She was the only one that survived the hatch from the 3 goose eggs that I received. One egg was infertile, the other (her bro/sis) came out to soon (preemie). We also hatched several ducklings at the same time. I will try to upload those pics (and videos) as well. It was a month before Easter time (2 years ago) that I got the goose & duck eggs and put them in the incubator... so I decided to color them. Too much fun we had! I'll be back with pics.
"Goose" is the kinda the mother hen (so to speak), over the ducks and the 2 chickens. She is a lovely girl. I guess if you hatch them, interact with them and treat them as a family member, they do not get too violent. They live in the "Quack Shack" that we built for them in the back yard. Our friends call it the "Guest Condo" (it is pretty cool!).

Edited... Let's see if YOU can see this?...

Awww. The 2nd pic is actually a video of "Sweetie Pie" (front and yellow egg; pekin duck) hatching and "Big Bird" following right behind her (lower blue egg to the right; mallord/pekin mix). Grand-babies & I wrote names on each egg before they hatched and we candle them (flashlite & toilet paper tube) so we could see them move about in the shell. We bet a 3 jelly beans for who's egg would hatch first. Grandson won!!!
("Goose's egg is top left, white).

Video is not playing. Shoot! I will keep messing around on here.

Edited: I still cannot see the video play. UGH. icon_rolleyes.gif
