I got some great deals at the store today at our local Hardings and Walgreens.
At Hardings I got 2 8 oz packages of the Land o Lakes spreadable butter for free! Thay were on sale for $1.50, had a store coupon for $1.00/2 and had 2 $.50 coupons that they doubled.
I also got deodorant at Walgreen's for $.25 each. Men's degree was on sale for $3.75 each. Buy 4 get $5.00 in register rewards(money to use on your next transaction). Also had 2 B1G1 coupons and 2 $.75 off one. Ending price $.25 each.
Used the register rewards to pay for the balance due after I bought 2 bottles of Hawaiian tropic sunscreen, had 2 $2.00 off one coupons and they were B1G1 and then you got a free 6 oz bottle of aloe vera gel with purchase of 2 bottles of sunscreen.

This week at my Martin's grocery store they had those little packages of cheese that they normally sell for $1.00 each-not a bargain- for 3/$1.00. For the shredded cheese that works out to $1.00 for 9 ounces of cheese. For the parmesan cheese it works out to $2.33 for an 8 ounce package which I can normally get on sale for about $3.50. I also got string cheese 3pks-12 sticks for $1.33 which I normally get happy if I get on sale for about $2.79.
Plus for each 12 that I got I get $.05 off up to 15 gallons of gas. Yahoo.

I did great at the store and am going back for a refund as well so the store paid me $ to shop.

I purchased gift packs of Fusion shaving kit (incl razor, cartridges, cream, deoderant, steptic, aftershave) on sale for 12.99 and I had $5 cpn
also bought 6-6 packs of Pepsi bottles at 2 for $9.00 and had $2.00 cpns so bought for 2/$7.00 . However, they went on sale yesterday and I called and they will refund the $9.00 back to me of the difference.
I then purchased several shave creams with $1-$2 dollar cpns all on sale for less than a dollar. I also purchased 40 POM juices for free with the sale and the $1.00 coupons. So all in all I ended up getting paid $3.33 for my order.


Mama was a happy camper.

I have used mine for a trip to Greece, buying things for the house, picking up those extra gifts for Bdays, holidays, last years trip to Florida to see our children, etc. I also have used it to pay bills as it gets us ahead together.
I put the $ in a special savings account to use when needed or wanted.
Dh figures if I spent that money it would be gone anyway so with coupon $ I can do as I please with what I save.

Now DH helps me with the coupon collecting and sorting. He stops at clipping and putting into the binder.

So that means I bought 10 6.6 ounce bags of Goldfish
Cracker for $5.00.
All the above goodies will last me for at least 5 months
if not longer.
Forgot to add:
Last Saturday K-mart had large eggs .99 cents a dozen.
Took the ad to Wal-mart and they did their price match
guarantee,so 2 dozen eggs =$1.98.

So let me share with you my shopping expeditions. 2 in all to a couple different stores. I figure if I was ok to drive I would go to the next town over to shop as they have several stores all close to each other. However, I was exhausted when I got home but so very excited at the same time.

this is what I have been working on for a few weeks and got real lucky with sales and coupons.
You will note very little meat or other foods purchased. I already did that for the month with g/f These are stock up things for my new pantry when it gets finished. The juice is for each day. Mike and I both drink 1 a day. (POMegranite juice)

DH just busted out laughing when I got home. He asked what the heck we are going to do with all the first aid kits. I told him 8 for us and my SIL Lisa shared. The other 8 are going to Angel Ministries, Pantry near where I live for Needy. I am also taking the shampoos, shave cream, and if I can get lucky tomorrow there will be more as I have rain checks for many of the same items and coupons to go with them.
Obviously we do not need all this but I love to be able to drop care packages off to those that do.
The lady that works at the gas station saves coupons for me from leftover papers, thus the abundance of coupons. Plus neighbors and family as they know I use them for good purposes. (Besides myself)

Totals
$429.28 for $30.69 and I get 30 free gallons of gas!!!!!!!!

I won't be able to do that again for a bit so large but hey a few here and there are nice.

I know what you mean about those Goldfish crackers. My Meijer had them on sale 10 for $10 and get the 11th free. I had 6 $1/2 coupons. I got 12 for $5.00. Those won't last long I have 5 kids. I am looking forward to some great deals this week on Triscuits and Wheat Thins, they are on sale for $1.49 and then I got coupons from a display at Walmart for $1/2. I haven't gone through the sales flyers completely but with only a quick glance it looks like a good week.

Our Kroger affiliate had spiral hams on sale for $1.79/lb. That's a pretty good price for us, so I bought one.

Three days later, they must have figured out the hams weren't selling well, and the sell-by date was approaching.

So, they marked them down to $1.09/lb.

Yes, I bought 2 more.

I stuck them in the freezer, and DH will smoke them on the grill this summer.
