This thread is devoted to all those great deals we run into weekly at the store. Please post the store, your region/location, and what you were able to get for what price. Maybe we can help each other find a bargain! icon_smile.gif

I found 1/2 gallon of Egg Nog at .69
I found it at Smiths Grocery Store in the discount section. It was two days to the sell by date but since you can freeze egg nog I picked it up and will use it in the next few days or freeze it. Keep your eyes open at Smiths. They have two discount sections. One in the meat dept. and one in the dairy. I'm in the southwest USA

What have you found this week?

Here were some of my Meijer deals this week..Although I think the new sales start tomorrow - so I will make sure to come back and post again. I'm located in Michigan.

    Kraft Macaroini & Cheese - buy 3/get 3 free..that worked out to .39 a box!
General Mills cereals - 5 for 9.00 ; buy 3 of them and use a 1.00 off 3 coupon - works out to 1.47 each.
Crest Pro Health Rinse 1.5 liter (normally 6.89) on sale for 4.47; use a 1.00 off coupon - works out to 3.47.

My local Ralphs Market offered a holiday special (4pm-midnight) recently of boneless hams for $0.99/lb (limit 2). I thought they were those tiny packages, but it turned out they were 4 lb and larger hams that sold elsewhere for $17 or more. They were all varying sizes and I grabbed two of the larger ones since I was planning on thick slicing one of them for ham steaks and the other deli thin for sandwiches ....but I noticed none of them had weight/prices on them so I was a little concerned about my budget cost but I could not ignore the sale price.

At checkout both hams were rung up at $3.96 each. They sold all the hams at a flat price. What a deal!

    Chubby Cook-
What a deal! I've been looking for hams in my area (SF Bay Area) and haven't seen any sales at all.
    I'm so jealous!

Great deals! You know - even if some of us don't have a particular store where a deal was found, it's helpful to know what a great price is for something. Don't you think?!

I had to run into Food Lion for emergency toilet paper and saw Gala apples for $.99/lb. They are the large, nice apples too. A great deal considering that the bagged Gala's are $4.99 for a 3lb bag for the medium to small apples.

Over the weekend, our Safeway store had those big veggie & dip trays with cheese cubes and sausage bites on them on clearance. They are usually $16.99 and I got one for $1.99! They were a couple of days until the use by date but the veggies were all still fresh.

Today, I am heading over to Fry's (Kroger). They have sour cream on sale for $1.00 for 8 oz. and I have two coupons for $.50 off one. My store doubles, so my sour cream will be FREE! Should be good for our Christmas Eve dip. icon_smile.gif
