Don't mind me, I just created those two 'empty' fields
for any housekeeping news we ever want to include.
I'm sure they'll come in handy sometime.

    But now to get acquainted.
I'm one of the Asian Forum hosts -- along with Pot Scrubber and Stella Mae.
Potsie and I are the noisy ones. Stella Mae is travelling in China right now.

    So who are you?

I have no idea of what this crazy woman speaks. I am quiet, shy, and demure.

And much older than that photo would imply.

Potsie -- you stay out of the Magic Mushrooms for a while.

You two are lots of fun and encouraging. So glad you are our hosts. icon_biggrin.gif

Potsie, I will be traveling to Fort Worth TX in October. Any good steak or barbecue restaurants in DFW area you like to recommend. I will be meeting my aunt and cousins for the first time and though I asked her about any great eats, she told me she is vegetarian. Had no idea there were vegetarians in Texas.

Thanks, Rinshinomori. But you shouldn't encourage us. We're already too rowdy.

Rowdy is good. I can say that because I'm too old to cause too much trouble anymore. I think. icon_wink.gif

We're glad you've come to be rowdy with us.
By the way, age has nothing to do with the amount of mayhem one can cause. icon_twisted.gif

icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif Hi......I just got the e-mail that you started this thread, but had no idea the Asian forum had so many fun people.......... icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif
Sorry, still laughing .........but what a refreshing break from so many complaints about "pasta sticking to the pot" ! icon_rolleyes.gif
I don't visit this site often, (don't know why) but I do cook an Asian dish about once a week. I'm certainly not very proficient at turning out authentic meals, but I follow the recipes and they almost always turn out great.
I have a wonderful little store near me called "The House of Rice", which has almost any ingredient I could think of needing and also the dishes and cookware and even a pair of shoes to walk out in.!! I buy my noodles and panko there......but always leave with a few things I really don't know what to do with.. icon_redface.gif They do have cooking classes every week too, and I am waiting for my life to slow down a bit so I can try my hand at learning something new.
Anyway, my name is Donna and I'm glad to meet you and will follow this thread ........I sure don't want to miss out on anything ..... icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Fort Worth is about an hour drive from Dallas. I don't know much about the restaurant scene in Fort Worth. Sorry, dear.

Except... there is a place called the Love Shack that has, reportedly, the best burgers in the USA.

Write me with details about your visit... Maybe I can find an excuse to drive to Fort Worth so we can grab a greasy burger and share an order of French fries. icon_cool.gif
