I made a double batch of Potato-Crab Chowder, froze half in 1 big family size batch and 3 lunch size containers. The lunch ones I take out the night before and put in the fridge, pack in my lunch as the "ice pack" . Reheats great and I take a slice of lemon and some tabasco to serve on top. With a 1/2 sammich it really fills me up.

I made a batch of my 5 Ingredient Baked Potato Skins and froze them in 5 piece portions in a vacuum seal bag. These are great to take out of the freezer and pop into the toaster oven, no defrosting is even needed. My DD loves them and can make them quickly as an after school snack.

That's awesome! Can we get you to add the directions and get the addition to OAMC?

I would love to, can I just add a step to the directions and edit the catagory?

    This turned out really good!

    Crock Pot Lasagna

I made the sauce as directed but I think your favortie sauce (with meat) would work too. I cooled it and then bagged in a large Ziplock bag. I mixed the cheeses, bagged and broke the lasagna noodles in half and bagged. Put those into a large freezer bag and label. I defrosted overnight in fridge and then followed directions...very very good!

I froze "Orange-Ginger Grilled Pork Chops" last week and made it last night.

To freeze, I simply put half of the marinade in with the pork chops and put the other half in a separate attached bag.
To thaw, I took it out the night before and put it in a dish in the refrigerator.

They came out just as good as they did when I made them fresh! This is an awesome recipe and the pork chops don't get dry.

I have successfully frozen To Die for Crock Pot Roast. This is my updated review:

UPDATED 3/16: This recipe freezes well. I pulled a ziploc bag of frozen leftovers from the freezer, defrosted in the microwave, and it was just as delicious as when I put it in.

Not as fancy of instructions as could be, but, that's all I did, lol. icon_lol.gif

I've frozen this as a "kit." The roast, etc. all in a Foodsaver bag. Makes popping in the fridge to defrost, then into the Crock Pot a real breeze!
