Here are a few that I have made into what I call Freezer Dinner Kits but aren't listed as so:
Bourbon Chicken For this one I bag the chicken in a large baggie, seal; then combine remaining ingredients in a large freezer bag, smoosh to combine, seal. I then place the baggie of chicken and the baggie of sauce into another large freezer bag (to prevent freezer burn) print the recipe and slide that in there too. I lay the bag flat in my freezer so that other meals can stack on top.
MaMa's Supper Club Tilapia Parmesan This one I use tilapia and it comes frozen so I just portion out what I need (about 6) into a large freezer bag, then in a quart size bag I combine everything else, smoosh to a paste, seal, squeeze the air out. Print the recipe, slide all bags (and recipe) into a large freezer bag and seal! Comes out great!
Cuban Ropa Vieja - Crock Pot The same for this one except it's more like a dump recipe. No need to seperate the meat. The directions say to brown the flank then place in a crock pot, I have assembled, froze and made this probably 3 times and have "dumped" it all in and it turn out great! A good tip for picky kids. When you get the meat out to shred, per the directions, I use my hand blender and blend the sauce. It creates a great sauce to serve over rice and hides all the chunky veggies!
Grilled Chipotle Lime Chicken Breasts - or Thighs Same as the others. Bag chicken by itself then mix the remaining in a quart sz baggie. Directions say not to add the honey, but I do and it always comes out fine.
Once thawed, cook as directed.
I have SO many more that I have done this with. I' will slowly add them as not to bombarred you all!! I've contacted them - I got behind but I'm starting to catch up now! Hopefully the chefs won't mind adding the OAMC directions

Oh and this one (one of our favs)
Crock Pot Chicken Taco Meat I place all ingredients, including the chicken, in a large freezer bag and freeze. Turns into a dump recipe. Throw it in the crock and it comes out great! Thanks Pamela! LOL, this one is already listed in OAMC We love it too!

I found another that I freeze with meat (but not marked OAMC). I've used flank and chicken. Place all in a large freezer bag, squeeze air out and seal. I double bag it to prevent freezer burn. Thaw and then grill is what I do!
"the" Marinade!

I went back and added freezer directions to these two, but I can't figure out how to recategorize them. Help?

Click on the customer support button at the bottom of the screen. Then just request that those two recipes be added to the OAMC category.

Hi All...
Freezer tested the following recipe (one of my own posted) and it came out beautifully. Hooray!! I love my new freezer!
It's super easy to make rice dish, 15 minutes or so to make the sauce.

Submitted yesterday...though it was my first time writing freezer directions and I think I'll re-write the freeze/reheat directions one more time. It was so simple that I didn't do a step by step, but I think that would be a bit helpful.

I froze this a couple of weeks back and then made it yesterday. It was great! I froze the pork chops in a bag by themselves and then put the other ingredients in a large freezer bag. I printed Kittencal's recipe and put that along with the other 2 bags into a 3rd large freezer bag and sealed it. When thawed I followed the directions. Yummo

Last week I made Chicken Bites With Spice recipe by Jewellies.
One of batch's I removed them from the oven just before being fully cooked. I flash froze them when cool and this week removed them and reheated in the oven for about 10 minutes or so (not sure the exact time as dh removed them)
They were just as nice as the non frozen ones! DH wanted to take some to work so he made a small container of them put in the fridge for the next day....DS came home and ate them and is not a fan of frozen food, and yes he usually always knows if its been frozen......... and no....... I dont know how!
I asked him what he thought....... he didnt know they had been frozen and he had reheated them in the microwave and said they were really nice!

Those look really good. I think I am going to try making some for us. I think they would be great as leftovers with some rice or veggies for lunch.
