I just picked up a CardioStyle ET150, out of the local paper, but didn't get a manual for it. I did workout on it for a bit, but the readout didn't really show anything useful. In about a minute the time jumped 3 minutes.
Anyone have a manual, or know where I can get one online? I tried Googling the name but it only came up with ones that were for sale.

From what I can tell, it is a product that is sold by Canadian Tire. Maybe try asking them for a contact address?
I haven't been able to find anything online either. I can't even find the company listing.
Sorry, I am not much help!

Try to find the manufacturer and see if they have a website. Many product manuals are downloadable nowadays.

Did you find the manual for the Elliptical Trainer 150? I have a hard copy and will scan to a PDF if you wish.

HI Chef!
For your own protection, you should edit your email address so that spammers won't find it.
Type it like this:

Then you won't end up with a whole bunch more spam in your inbox.

Thanks Chef #791031. I am beginning to think that the computer isn't hooked up right, the only time I get a reading on anything with it is when I am holding on to the smaller bars. Time, Distance, Calories, and what not, and only when it is scanning. I could be on the elliptical for 30 minutes and it will only say 45 seconds.

Thanks a ton Chef #791031. It turns out the 2 wires were hooked into the wrong place. Silly me why didn't I think of that before. But then when you buy something already assembled that it would be put together right. , especially when the old owners had the manual to begin with.
Now I want un-hook it, it won't let me cheat. , if I stop for more than 3 seconds the timing stops, now now my 30 minutes is taking me almost 32 minutes. Oh well, keeps me trying harder, I am taking less breaks than I was before.
PS: I did 6 kms. And I got up to 25 KPH in speed, only for about 30 seconds, in spurts.

We call that "interval training".

I found out the the two wires in the display were plugged into the wrong places. The one with two wires plugs directly into the back of the display, the one with one wire plugs into the connection piece. I hope you can understand that.
When I got it the 2 wires were going into the connection piece and the 1 wire was plugged into the back of the unit.
The only time it would count how long I was on the elliptical was when I was holding the pressure pads for the heart rate.
