Salam everyone
I just noticed the meet and greet topic here. I been a member of zaar for a little while but I'm just starting to browse the forums now that I'm a stay at home mom for awile. I jumped right into zaar and played ZWT last year and had alot of fun. I took a break for awile because I was pregnant and couldnt bear the sight or smell of most foods. Thankfully I'm able to cook again and get back into some Zaar fun. I'm currently playing Ramadan Tag

Salam, Hi
I didn't realise you had a introduction "sticky", posted new post saying hi already, oops!
Ok I'm in Uk, London and married to an Algerian, sure I've used the site before for recipes, however was compelled to join after stumbling on Um Safia's recipes thank you Um Safia!
Been experimenting more with algerian recipes over ramadan, no in-laws close by to steal recipes from and last year when met the mother in law, she was cooking 20 things at the same time and giving me the instructions for EVERYTHING in one go, so through my notebook away for the rest of the visit!

Hey there,
I've been on Recipezaar for a couple of months, and am trying and reading lots of recipes.
I'm a kiwi, and my husband is Lebanese/Armenian. We got married October 2007. We live in Riyadh, KSA. I've been working as a nurse in KSA over 6 years, and my husband in advertising for the last 8 years.
Recipezaar is great, because I haven't been that confident or adventurous in the kitchen, there are lots of recipes here with easy-to-follow instructions and others' suggestions.
My favourite foods are: fattoush with dipsa roman (pomgranate molasses), tabbouleh, lahmajin (Armenian-style), lentil soup, good hearty/healthy vege soups.
Salamtik!

Hi from Israel,
I love eating and preparing all kinds of middle east food -- the most fun and healthy to make and to eat.
LOVE this site; it's a wealth of recipes, and very helpful reviews/tips/nutritional info.
All the best to all people of all types in this region!

Hi, salam and welcome, even though I'm new
I don't see many members welcoming newbies here, but just think it's friendly to say hi

Asalaamu Alaikum,
My name is Nichole, I converted to Islam about 2.5 years ago and met my husband soon after. Since he's from Jordan I have spent the last couple of years learning the traditional Sham dishes like Moulekhia, Atayf, Mashi, Bamia, etc & his beloved Mansaf of course.
I stumbled upon this forum while I was raiding Um Safia's (sp)recipes.
Anyways, I hope you all had a wonderful Eid Insha'Allah.

Also, welcome (although I am new myself lol) to Hank.

LOL! Yeah, I must have spent 5 hours looking through her list of recipes and I didn't even cover 1/10th of what she's posted.
