I asked the bartender if she was willing to give up the recipe. It starts with shiraz as the main ingredient then their hurricane mix then triple sec and grendine. she didn't give me measurements..

Semi-Experienced "Sous Chef" Poster
Oh, sangria is amazing. It is so good for a day at the beach. I spent about a week in Barcelona last summer and that is nearly all I drank. Thanks for the TGIF's recipe as those are hard to come by. It makes complete sense though with the Hurricane mix.

Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
I figured the recipe out.
I used fruit punch, Jacobs Creek Shiraz ( you can also use Yellow Tail Shiraz) and sprite. It tastes very very close to it but unfortunatly I did not measure I just poured til it tasted close to the actual drink. It turned out very Yummy when I made it. Good Luck

My Spanish teacher was from Colombia, and she made a Sangria that was to die for. It included frozen peaches. I tried to post it, but it didn't take; I'll have to try again.

I made it last summer. pretty gosh darn close, Shiraz, dole frozen pineapple orange passionfrut concentrate, triple sec, sliced lemons, limes and oranges and grenidine it worked real well and was real close..you could stretch it out and add sprite to it per glass...but this in a large pitcher worked well for my friend and I ...

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!
I used Barefoot Cabernet Sauvignon (what they use for TGI Friday's recipe), grenadine, guava juice, and sprite =D enjoy!! Tastes the same!!! =]] Please post feedback!
