I am looking for some flavorful low cal dressings. They can have a little oil in them, too, but preferably lower in calories.

(NO FAT in here at all, RICH in flavor!)

I also really like the Kraft Thousand Island Dressing .. i use it to toss taco salad in Summer.. the FAT FREE kind, taste just like reg to me.. same with the FAT FREE Catalina and the FAT FREE Miracle Whip Salad Dressing.

AND, I am very picky about FF products, most taste horrid to me.

    Hi Roxygirl,

I don't even use reduced fat mayo, because it still has too much fat. I'll post this on my recipes soon as I can:
    Mayonnaise Healthy Substitute

Mix these three together & put on your salad or rollup. You’ll swear it’s mayonnaise!
1/2 cup non-fat plain or Greek yogurt …………….......…50 calories
    1/2 tsp powder of Sugar-Free Jello Vanilla pudding…..5 c.
    1/2 tsp powder of Sugar-Free Jello Lemon gelatin…….5 c.

Tuna Salad: Serves 2; 167 calories per serving

1 can Solid White Albacore Tuna (in water, drained) ..225 calories
    1 cup chopped onions, celery & tomatoes………………50 c.
    1/2 cup plain non-fat yogurt........... ……………………….50 c.
    1/2 tsp Sugar-Free Jello Vanilla pudding ……………….5 c.
    1/2 tsp Sugar-Free Jello Lemon gelatin ………………….5 c.

Mix together the two Jello products & the yogurt. Add in the tuna, onion, celery & tomatoes; arrange on lettuce -- or between 2 slices healthy bread because you can, you’ve saved so many calories.

If buying look for Ken's fat free sun dried tomato and Ken's fat free Raspberry vinegarette. Wonderful stuff. I haven't tried the FF ranch because the stores don't stock it here but first chance I get...

equal portions of salsa and hidden valley ranch FAT FREE dressing makes a wonderful Mexican salad dressing. You can also add some taco seasoning for extra flavor! It's REALLY great! I got the idea from Cindy's Southwest Chicken Dinner Salad.

If you have Safeway stores where you live- I'm totally hooked on their Eating Right brand Carmelized Onion and Poppyseed dressing. I think its like 50 calories for 2 tbs, and 3 g of fat. I don't like to use non-fat salad dressings because most of the vitamins in salad are fat soluable.

A bit late to jump in, but I just found this thread!

I work for a weight loss center and highly recommend the salad dressings from Walden Farms. Most of them have zeros across the label and usually a small amount of sodium.
They are most often hiding in the organic section of your grocery stores.

Another thing to keep in mind is to follow the serving size...most are 2 T. When looking for dressings to use on a weight loss plan look for nothing more than 3 carbs and 2 sugars per serving, plus FF.
